Market economy wants a market of one. It creates them by offering anything we want: products, privilege, credit for more. In essence, it's a 100% available caterer who always has exactly what we're looking for.

The idea that everyone gets the same treatment, with the same access to the same caterer, is the primary problem with this. We end up feeling entitled to being waited on, and we wonder why the vast majority of the world's population is whining about dirt-poor conditions.
